KLab Invests in Ichikara Who Operates One of Japan's Largest Virtual YouTuber Groups "Nijisanji."

KLab Inc., a leader in online mobile games, announced that it has invested in Ichikara Inc. that operates one of Japan's largest virtual YouTuber groups Nijisanji with such members as Mito Tsukino, Kaede Higuchi , and Rin Shizuka.

Ichikara is an entertainment-related startup that was established in May 2017 that began by operating the virtual YouTube group Nijisanji as part of its entertainment business activity.

Nijisanji members began their activities with video distribution and further expanded to such activities as event performances, sales of merchandise and digital content, music production, and live performances. As of the end of August 2019, there were 80 assigned members. It became an industry leader in registered users among virtual YouTuber channels and continues to lead the VTuber industry.

In addition to the operation of Nijisanji, the company is actively developing new businesses such as the overseas VTuber business and the operation of Yumenographia, which uses VR technology to facilitate interactive communication with virtual characters around the world.
