Create Your Own Empire

Players are challenged to advance an array of civilizations through new ages to forge their own custom empire. After creating buildings that produce resources required for the expansion of their fledgling army, players can utilize the newly-collected resources to build barracks for training new soldiers. For success in battle, new rulers are advised to strengthen their army by leveling up buildings and troops. Players can also build an Embassy to forge powerful Alliances. Winning battles awards players points that can be used to unlock new technologies and buffer effects for troops – the key to victory in Age of Empires: World Domination.

Full-Scale Strategic Battles

The first player to destroy the enemy’s Garrison wins. The game starts by searching for the opponent’s forces, clearing the fog of war to map out the surrounding terrain, and plotting the most effective course to the enemy’s base. Players must use their limited resources wisely as they devise their battle tactics. During gameplay, players can choose to rush their opponent with waves of troops, or focus on securing new resources before launching a punishing counterattack near the end of the battle. Creating a formidable army and entrenching it near the enemy’s throat is an excellent way to turn the tide of war. To prevent any unforeseen strikes by their opponent, commanders must defend their own territory. However, almost any pinch can be averted with the right combination of unique hero skills. Even the strongest enemy force can be conquered with the proper strategy.

The game features a Hall of Heroes filled with the greatest warriors from world history. All Heroes come equipped with powerful skills, and can be matched with soldiers who fall under their area of expertise to create the ultimate army. Players are given the opportunity to assemble a custom team of heroes that transcends time to fit their in-game strategy.
